One fateful winter day, my mother found an elderly man, frail and vulnerable, lying on the snow-covered sidewalk. Without hesitation, she helped him up and took him home, tending to his needs. This man was Benjamin Wolf. Over the next seven years, my mother cared for Benjamin and his wife with unwavering dedication. Their home became a second home for me, a place where I spent countless hours listening to Benjamin’s tales of a life well-lived.

Benjamin was a remarkable man who had seen 115 years of life. His stories were not just about the events he witnessed but the wisdom he had gathered along the way. His words were a beacon of inspiration during times when I felt the weight of my responsibilities the most. One evening, as we sat together, he shared with me the piece of advice that would change my life forever:
"Life is not life if you don't know what you're doing with it each day. Don't go to work if you have no work; don't live a life of emptiness! Do what makes you want to LIVE, and then you are living life!"
